These three borders contain many plants from my border design at the Malvern Spring Gardening Show 2007. 

I have repeated plants and used the same colours to link the 3 beds across the garden to create an informal style of planting. 

The circular bed has a statue as a centre piece and this has been planted around.  In the summer, tall verbascums and lupins will grow around her, without blocking the view entirely, instead you will be able to look through the planting to see the statue.  Then in the winter when the perennials die back, the statue will be seen clearly as a focal point in the garden.

A year on and another bed was created near the circular bed.  I used similar colours and plants to the other planting in the garden but this time with a couple of roses and penstemons to make a difference.  Verbena bonariensis has also been added to each of the beds to give an airy height from July to early autumn.
